Prêt-à-couture employs couture techniques and the in-between of prêt-á-porter and haute couture, emphasizing the techniques, the construction, and the craftsperson-ship; each item is crafted with preservation in mind. This practice also allows for human connection, local and origin sourcing, high-quality, keeping the process slow, balanced and conscious. Garments and accessories are exclusively made in New York, New York, and almost all, by hand. Fabric sourcing may come from Europe (France, Italy), the United Kingdom, and artisanship from India, Africa, along with some silks from Japan. There are also natural dyes and techniques from Mexico/Latin America.

Orders are typically processed within 48-72 hours, and then creation begins. A grace period of up to 48 hours for an order cancellation is allowed. You are encouraged to reach out prior to placing the order for any questions at hello@jeknewyork.com.
